I've been going to Penn Cycle and to Freewheel for years and years. The service is great, the techs and salespeople knowledgeable and I've found the availability of bikes and parts second to none. I've bought everything from parts to paint to decals for OLD Schwinn bikes back in the day to current parts, tools and accessories -- they have yet to disappoint. Every brand new bike I've ever had came from Penn/Freewheel. Drop-in service requests at the Greenway store, maintenance at the Richfield, Bloomington, or Eagan shops always seemed to be welcome and promptly delivered whenever possible. No request too small or question too basic. I really, really like this business.

I like the feeling that you are acting like an adviser, helping me figure out and resolve the issues with my bike and recommending the best course of action vs. trying to increase the bill.

We shopped at several local bike shops in search of a new bike. Ultimately, Freewheel was the first, and the last (to make a purchase!) shop we stopped at. Tyler helped us out in talking about proper fit and adjusting small things here and there to ensure the bike was comfortable.
