Stylist was great

Generally my experience at Sports Clips is always best. In my last visit, there was a new stylist who doesn’t know how to cut men’s hair. I’m glad she asked manager for help and the manager did part of my hair cut explaining her how to do it. The most disappointing part is the manager had the nerve to charge double-MVP (as she thinks I’m double pampered) and applied the discount code. I did not complain and still tipped $10 for hair stylist because I felt she needed this job and I want to encourage her. I will ONLY go there again if my regular hair stylist is available and for minimal services.
Convenient and the MVP offers a bit of pampering without breaking the bank.

The option to check in on-line is worthless. I checked in on my account and was told the time to arrive. I arrived a couple of minutes early and was informed that another had “walked in” and was in front of me because of”first come first served”. I had to wait 35 minutes for my stylist. I thought checking in on line put me in line. I complained because I thought checking if in on-line put me in line. Nope!! Why should I check in online if a walk in can jump ahead of me? Very misleading.

Reasonable prices
While the stylists are always friendly, there are few things that need work:
1. The check-in app is never correct on the wait time, and often changes several times before you get there, which makes it difficult to get there at the correct time to get into a chair. Usually, it's a longer wait, which is equivalent to just showing up without a check-in.
2. The stylists appear to be in a bit of a hurry, and tend to disregard your special requests (length of sideburns, extra trim on colic, etc.)
3. There is a consistent push to upgrade the appointment to a more expensive one.
4. While the stylists deserve a good wage, there are only options on the payment screen for a tip of 20% or higher. While I am aware you can change that to something lower, it is disingenuous.

Your online scheduling and stylist tracking app is inaccurate, and needs to be completely revamped. My place in line for my chosen stylist remained at 97 minutes for over an hour, without changing. After waiting an hour, I drove to your shop, and found that I was “due up!” So, as I was about to sit down in the chair, I was told there was actually someone ahead of me, and that I would have to wait 30 minutes! I finally got my haircut, but getting there was a total disaster. What good is an app that can’t track a stylist’s progress, so that customers know when they’ll get their haircut? Come on DportClips, you can do better!
