Love this studio. The only thing I want more of is weekday morning classes that are a little later. 6 or 6:30 is just a bit too early for me. A 7:00 or 7:30 would be awesome because I could finish before work at 9:00, but don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn. Thank you!

All CPY studios i have been too are wonderful: stylish spaces, squeaky clean, friendly staff and above all: instructors who know their stuff, who vary class sequences and provide good feedback, hands on or not: could not be more enthusiastic about this Brand.

Good heat

I love doing Yoga Sculpt. Grace is the best teacher and always has amazing music. Her workouts are consistent in quality and intensity but she always mixes things up to keep it interesting, so I want to come every week! I There are other CorePower studios with easier access and better parking, but i keep coming back because of Grace.

Great class by Cathleen! The only issue was in the men's locker room where there was a bed smell near the shower area.

I love that it’s easy to schedule my classes and that the teachers are high quality.

I like that I get to do a full body workout in 1 hour, I get to sweat all the toxins out, and the amazing instructors at each studio. What I love about it is how amazing I feel after each session.

The studio was a good vibe and everyone was very welcoming and kind!

Anisha was such a great instructor! I felt her voice and instruction held me :) I will be coming back to attend her classes.

authentic yoga approach and intimate community

Great studio and instructors!

I find the CorePower experience expectedly subjective from studio to studio, whereby certain locations vibe with me more than others. I don't think that means any one studio doesn't "measure up," just I'm looking for a certain type of experience of often find at Grand Lake (and Rockridge) since they're sister locations. I would like to point out instructors like Huong Nguyen, Long, Aaron, Chris, Caitlin, and others as examples of those "making the classes their own." Huong especially shines because she clearly both taught for years and studies the practice so her classes never come across as formulaic. (For reference I predominantly take C2 Yoga classes)

While empathizing with the challenge to maintain consistency across so many studios means using a consistent teaching rubric, I need more diversity in class. The reality of every single class normally following a progression of table top to cat/cow to crescent lung to chair.............becomes terribly monotonous and not developmental for a well-rounded practice. The instructors I mention still adhere to the basics from the rubric but include numerous other cadences and poses to keep the classes dynamic, which I appreciate greatly.

Sweating

Caitlin is an amazing yoga instructor! Her voice and words of wisdom refill my cup full every class I am so fortunate to be a part of. The Oakland community is lucky to have Caitlin!!!

Caitlins class is great!

Miles is always a great instructor, very thoughtful with his sequence. It's not overly complicated but just enough variation so that the class doesn't feel stagnant.

Music choices excellent.

Room is always particularly clean before class starts.
