I like how the machines are cleaned and fixed regularly. I like the Bible verse paper you can help yourself to one as you leave. I always do.
The instructors are awesome and the atmosphere is inviting. The gyms are well equipped with all different types of weights. There are many different rooms for you to do any type of work outs you want. They even have personal training. You have to see this place to appreciate it.
Excellent coaches.
Scott is an excellent sports director. He’s very hands on and cares for the program. He does a great job training officials. The kids on our team all developed very well and have become enthusiastic about basketball due to your YMCA. You allow for ample practice days in addition to game days which allows for team camaraderie, learning, and understanding. Practice times also allow coaches to teach the children different learned skills or strategies. This YMCA location is great for any child. We have also been engaged in other programs and found them to be highly effective.
There is a variety of exercise programs. Just wish there was a more active card playing program. No one seems to show up.
There is such a wide range of creative and well-organized programs and activities to choose from for young and older alike. I am always greeted warmly and by name when I enter and sent off after my workout with a kind word and well wishes.
This location is very clean, which I sincerely appreciate and the workout equipment is always in working order.
I recommend the YMCA to all my friends and family!
Friendly Staff
There are many classes and activities to choose from.
The programs are very inclusive. I like that there are all different fitness levels and the instructors teach to everyone.

I love the Zumba program and belly dance. The instructors are engaging and bring challenging routines, along with great cardiovascular challenge. I especially love Yenni, Daniela, Ivy, and Jeeda

I go frequently to the Gym, it is good, and the staff is always smiling and courteous
I enjoy using the Ballard YMCA ! The staff is very helpful and friendly.
The stationary bike closest to the water fountain has lost its television/cable connection. The other bikes still have tv.
It is often warm in the wellness room. Noticeably warmer than the hallway or weight room. The hallway and weight room are always a comfortable temp, but wellness room is usually too warm.
It’d be good if ceiling fans could be installed in the wellness room !
Love the exercise classes.
Plenty of options for classes that will suit all members desires and abilities. Excellent instructors. Workers at the front desk are always very welcoming. A great place to workout and make friends. I could not be more pleased.
Great gym, very clean and the staff and classes are outstanding
I go there to play pickleball and you have it.
However, During the summer camp, the staff tends to urn on the music overly loud and we have to contend with it.
Also, your staff should tell people to respect the schedule for the sports that the gym had put down for. Case in point, recently while we were playing pickleball a father brought his son to practice basketball. The son starts to round around the gym and we have to tell him to stop. He then tells his son to dribble the ball on the side. We also tell him to stop. He disagree and we told him to complain to the staff. He brought the staff in and explained the situation but unfortunately the staff allows the son to dribble the ball at the side. They said its not disturbing, but respectfully, all of the pickle ball players said its disturbing. All we ask is that people need to respect the gym schedule.
