Everything in the Downtown Y is great staff is awesome, super clean gym & pool area . Many classes & activities to get involved in. Best gym I have ever been to.
Quality water exercise classes, core and Mat Pilates classes, low impact cardio options, variety of weights (love that counterweighted chinup machine!), pickleball paddles & balls to borrow, the aMAZing hot tub.
So much to choose from!

Good variety, and good to see Downtown adding classes. There were too few.
Could you please be mindful of the toxic versus non-toxic cleaning agents that you're using? One day I noticed really fragrant, synthetic smelling cleaner as I stretched out on the floor in my usual manner. Normally the floor cleaner doesn't smell, and it shouldn't. Any use of cleaners that aren't environmentally friendly I believe go against the Y's principles. And they drive my allergies bananas. Thanks for listening
I don't participate in any activities or programs
I like the staff and the cleanliness of the gym. I wish they would bring the bath towels back to the shower rooms.
The Body Pump, Core, and Attack classes and instructors are great.

Facility is terrific but the staff on the top floor staff seems to be just sitting around, looking at their phones. I'd like to see more proactive engagement with members, asking if folks need help, maybe wiping down machine that we neglect to. More engagement, more interaction. That would be useful.
Great variety of classes with lovely trainers/teachers!!! Clean and safe place too!!
I love the roster of group classes at the Tellepsen Y. I like that the repertoire of classes are offered several times a day & throughout the week to suit most schedules. The classes are fun, the instructors are great, the facility is clean & the Tellepsen Y has a great sense of community.

Frankly, at 86 they keep me on my feet and functioning. They’re the most essential part of every weekday.

The weight machines are what I use typically.
Please don't remove any if you add more machines.

Location in the downtown area. Cypress Creek/D. Bradley Williams YMCA is home gym, but when downtown ....
The indoor track, the weights and machines.
I attend three group exercise classes geared to seniors. They are wonderful. I can be active without worrying about hurting myself because of the wonderful instructor, Yvonne Saunders. She makes class fun and lively, and the other class members are lovely. We have such a great time. It has done wonders for my mobility, overall health and state of mind.

My trainer, Michelle Gendron, is totally awesome. She knows what I need.
The facility is clean and well-lit. It seems to have what is needed. I like the women's training room, too. But it is small and has less equipment.
