I love waking up and going to the Ymca. Everyone are so friendly and courteous. The trainers Yvonne, Michelle Eloise, Sasha. The maintenance crew, the information desk and Julie the director will stop and talk and try to answer your questions

The Les Mills classes (Body Pump, Body Attack, Body Combat) and the instructors are great; however, the first-floor men's locker room has almost every long locker locked with a lock. I counted over 70 locks and no place to place my clothing. This is now spreading to the 2nd floor men's locker room. I thought we couldn't leave overnight locks unless a special monthly fee was paid.
Clean. Friendly staff. People who go there are always nice. Still trying to figure out the new equipment.

The gym is so well cared for, the staff is friendly and helpful and the workout trainer I found to teach this old man the best way to work out was the best. I had never joined a Y and had not ever connected with anyone to teach me the workout procedures. I’m am forever grateful to have discovered the downtown YMCA!

I like the machines, cleanliness, and the atmosphere. Pilates and yoga classes are pretty good.
But I get very frustrated when I’m trying to work out after work and people hog the machines for a long time. We have four of the same machines at the Downtown Y and I couldn’t get on one for like 20 minutes. You need to put up signs that say people need to rotate in other people on the machines and only take two minute breaks in between sets. Your employees need to remind people that scrolling on your phone for 10 minutes between sets is not appropriate.

Hello Manager, I just wanted to share that, I really enjoy the silver sneakers and the swim exercise classes at the gym. If possible, I would love to see more water aerobics to improve fitness. Aquatic therapy used for recovery join pain or rehabilitation. Walking in the pool for low- impact exercise, great for joints and beginner. Thank you

My only problem is in the men's locker room on the first floor. Virtually all of the long lockers in this room have locks on them. These are the long lockers with wide bottoms. On October first, I had to lay out because of a heart condition. Most of these particular lockers were available at that time. When I returned in mid November, virtually all of these these lockers were unavailable at that time. It is difficult for me to understand the reason for the policy change regarding the availability of these lockers.
I’ve used only the pool and I’m very favorably impressed. Bravo!
Flexibility, variety, dedicated instructors

Love the Yoga Aquatics and we need more than just 1 class a week. There are times I cannot make it on Friday. More often than not, the instructor is turning away peeps bc class is full and this water exercise is gentle on senior bones!
Please consider!!

I’ve been a member since 1996. I love the YMCA. The new facilities are excellent. They are very well maintained with nice, knowledgeable staff.
