I highly recommend the Forever Well and Silver Sneakers classes for folks who find themselves losing out on their current exercise program. I thought I was getting enough on my own walking, exercising 20 minutes on the machines in the workout room in our building and general cleaning activities. What I found out was there is a lot more work to be done and while what I was doing was o.k., it was far from adaquate.. Really enjoy the classes and our trainer who patiently keeps us all moving and working to achieve our individual potential.
All the warm stuff. Sauna steam room jacuzzi/spa and the pool if you can get in either the lap or the smaller aerobics style/learning pool.
I love the open spaces and the variety of workout areas.
I love that the weight lifting options have recently expanded!
Please move the stuff blocking the view of downtown, while running on the treadmills.

I love the Y because there's something for me, whether hitting the weights bright and early or joining a lively cardio class after a long day. With its welcoming atmosphere and diverse range of workouts, it feels like a second home. It's not just about staying fit; it's about doing it together and feeling supported every step of the way.

What I don't like is the rearrangement of the 4th floor that leaves so little floor space. We can fit 3 people by the windows and 3 by the elevators. There is always jockeying for space because warmups are essential for working out.
I like the central location, the variety of weight machines and cardio machines, friendly and welcoming staff members, attractive and clean facility, great Janitorial and housekeeping.

I love the Tellepsen Y! I especially like the Women’s Center which is my preferred place to exercise. The equipment is state of the art, and the facilities are always very clean.
I am a senior lady and I would love more beginner Yoga classes. The few classes I have attended were extremely over crowded, which is my only complaint. Please consider having more beginner Yoga classes. I have gone to the Silver Sneakers class where everyone is standing holding on to a chair. I’m 78 but those classes do nothing for me. Thank you!

The Women's Fitness Center should be open on Friday from 4-8 like other weekdays. Too many people (and staff) sitting on equipment scrolling through their phones while others wait to use it. I think more people would wipe down the machines when they finish if the paper towels and sanitizer spray were located closer to the workout floor. I wish staff would encourage people to unload the weight from machines when they finish their workout. The 4th floor workout area has a good selection of equipment and free weights and I appreciate that there are more than one of the more popular machines. The Y is generally cleaner than any other club I've worked out at and most of the staff is friendly and ready to help if asked. I only use the Y for fitness workouts, I've never participated in any programs or group activities.
