I like how the people working at Wild Rock really know their products, from skis to jackets, Thermarests to maps. Everyone is very friendly--you get greeted at the door and smiled at while you're shopping or looking around. Prices are expensive for quality gear at Wild Rock, but the swaps and sales that Wild Rock hosts help our whole family to "get out and play," most seasons. We appreciate the email updates, which remind us to get back into the store for these events, and they also help us stay up to date on community events too like the Film Festivals. I appreciate not having to go to SAIL or MEC to get what I'm looking for because Wild Rock is right here in Peterborough-- I can stay warmer, dryer, and ultimately safer and happier sooner in the outdoors with my family! Finally, I am a huge fan of the work Wild Rock is promoting to help others in need in downtown Peterborough. It makes me proud to contribute to a business where the owners care about the people living and trying to survive in this current and challenging socio-economic climate.
