Friendly and helpful staff, a variety of group fitness classes led by knowledgeable and fun instructors, numerous machines/equipments and clean facility.

What do you like best about the YMCA?

I like the friendliness of the staff. This starts at the top with Mike Beamer who is always friendly and chats with the members. This rolls down to his entire staff. I also enjoy the cleanliness of the branch itself. The NC branch of the YMCA is always clean and equipment is working condition. When equipment fails, it is repaired quickly. I like the addition to the sauna as well. If I had a request, if would be to install a steam room as well!

The Norton Commons YMCA is by far the best facility in town! The instructors are knowledgeable, friendly and supportive. The administrative people are always courteous and helpful. You can’t find a better facility.

So glad to be fully back open. I feel you all did a good job through the last year and I thnk that doing cardio with a mask on has been good for my overall health.
