Location
It’s my home away from home. I am convinced it helps me more mentally than physically. I enjoy meeting new people and some have become good friends. Most of the people are so friendly. The staff is the best! Mike and his directors have a knack for hiring good people. My favorite activity is Kathy’s classes on Tuesdays and Thursdays. She is so wonderful and we are all like family. Just call me Kathy’s Clown. Keep up the good work!
Convenience, workout equipment
It’s such a great family place. My kids love going to play and swim and I love that I can do a variety of workouts whether it’s taking a class or just doing my own thing in the gym. YMCA is awesome!

The childcare makes it so easy and stress free to be able to get my workout in.
I love that it’s a family friendly establishment and for the way the Y gives back and supports the local community. Also, the instructors are excellent and knowledgeable. We love our local Y!

The Y offers lots of group fitness classes at an affordable price. The staff are friendly and encouraging—- the members are always uplifting too!
I like the fact that multiple exercises can be performed in one location. My wife loves too swim but I don't and having the pools available in same location is a big plus for our family.

How welcoming it is. As someone very far from being physically fit I love how the Y at norton commons is a judgement free zone.
It’s very nice. The childcare workers quickly learned my kids’ names and made my 3 year old, who is very sensitive to new stimulus, feel so comfortable & at home. My only complaint is the cleanliness of the showers. But overall, we love this YMCA.

Close to home. Equipment availability. Track at Norton Commons however would like to not have mothers with strollers and their small children running amok in both directions
