I mostly do activities at the Kate and Herman Kaiser YMCA. I love the natural surrounding at that venue. I also am very happy with our Yoga class.
I had not been to Tandy since the facility was the Thorton YMCA and my son played team basketball almost 40 years ago. The new Tandy facility is amazing with wonderful equipment and beautiful décor and I thought this must be where the rich and famous go to to exercise, until I saw many ordinary people like myself also enjoying this beautiful facility. I have used Tandy YMCA only twice counting today and both times it because I had appointments in the area.
The first visit I felt lost because the facility is large and my contact with staff was limited. Today I asked for help in the use of one of the treadmills on the 2nd floor and a very nice young man named Jeff smiled and said he would be happy to help me. It made me feel welcome and I thanked him. I will probably only use this facility when I am in the area because I live in north Tulsa, but I can highly recommend the Tandy YMCA.

I think the basketball program is the only one I am recently familiar with. I like the schedules. However, practicing once a week seem not adequate for development of a team. The Thunder sponsorship is nice. The uniforms are very nice. The actual calendar features for tracking is nice as well.
The sports programs promote a positive atmosphere for the children while they are able to have fun playing a sport they like.
Love the cardio drumming class. Need an extra one!!!

The variety of time slots for programs
I like the variety and the fact that Im not bound to a monthly contract. I also like that this is a Christian founded organization that gives back to the community.
