The renovations completed at the Okmulgee Y have indeed enhanced the exercise experience, good job.
Haven’t participated in any programs yet just used the treadmills.

The facility is great, has wonderful staff and really clean! There’s always enough room for all sorts of workouts and everyone is cordial there.
One suggestion I would have is some heavier kettlebells and more options of kettlebells.
Really appreciate on site child care/kids program.
Love the weightlifting area! The facilities seem clean. My only two complaints would be the men’s locker room cleaning which can be a pain if I only have time to go in the middle of it and want to utilize showers and sauna, as well as the weekend hours. I know staffing and such would cost money, but longer weekend hours would be very great!
The clean, inviting facility is always lively and it offers great classes. The staff in the early morning are friendly and easy to talk to with any questions or concerns.
I don’t know much about the programs or other activities, but your facility is very clean and people are very nice there. The machines are in great condition and I don’t have trouble getting to use the machines I need.

The equipment is perfectly located and maintained in great condition.
I like the pool, which is where I go most of the time.
I am annoyed that the lap lanes are still for those who don't swim laps, and that those who do laps are in the leisure lanes. I understand the issue with the heater or whatever isn't functioning, but the leisure lanes aren't that cold at all.
I do wish there was a more concerted effort at keeping the men's locker rooms a little more tidy, and that there wasn't so move litter in the showers, ie discarded shampoo or body wash bottles.
Another issue is the dry sauna in the men's locker room, when will those seats/benches be repaired?
Love that I can walk indoors when there is bad weather.

I love the classes!! The -45 class is great and I enjoyed Defend until they cancelled the Wednesday class.
There’s a lot of great staff at the Y. I’m sorry to hear of so many instructors who leave for better paying jobs with benefits. I would encourage the management to pay our instructors a more competitive pay. It’s really tough on members when classes are cancelled because there are no instructors.
Our family loves ❤️ swimming. We love basketball EVERYDAY! We love the different activities that are offered regularly.

Basketball is usually open. Staff is friendly. My children are able to work out with. Location is near our home.
They are scheduled at times that are convenient for me. They have great instructors.
I have very limited walking abiities so I find the water wonderful.

YMCA offers a variety of activities, exercise equipment, pool, trainer workouts, classes for those wishing for yoga, stretching. You have a choice of activities which will meet your needs.

I want to commend one of your workers who opens at the West campus some mornings, I believe his name is Nick.
Friday, I was sitting in my car because I arrived a few minutes before opening when the tornado sirens began sounding. I headed inside and Nick had current radar information called up on the computer. Because he is young, I have to commend him for his calmness in this situation. He was also very informative about the steps in the case the weather escalated. This employee is always pleasant and profession, as opposed to other opening staff who can come across as inconvenienced and harsh, who most likely would have been unhappy about an early arrival.
Campus police escorted us to the auditorium and released us when the first round of sirens ended. The sirens sounded a second time and we were unable to access the auditorium. Nick remained calm and escorted myself and another patron who had arrived to a closet until we were retrieved by campus police who escorted us to the auditorium a second time.
Throughout the weather events, Nick stayed calm and professional. I hope he will be commended for these actions!
