I think Sheldon is an awesome company that really tried to meet my propane needs in the past. It was purchased by Superior Plus Propane some time ago and I feel it is still going through the challenges of being absorbed by a big company. While there is a loss of the personal attention that I felt I had when I dealt directly and only with Sheldon employees, I feel that Superior Plus is trying to act with integrity and try to meet my needs and still treat me as a person.
My favorite people associated with Superior Propane are those that are local and were my providers with Shelton as it feels they know me. I hope that Superior Plus recognizes the benefit of theses dedicated workers and compensates them adequately. It is the people that make the company what it is and for that reason, I would recommend Superior Plus to my family and friends to meet their propane needs.

Too over account after buying the house
Response to service, our Delivery person is excellent ,great an attitude, even when weather is bad, he gets the job done. At times it would be great to purchase fuel even when I may am not at your minimums. I like having a local fuel vendor in my area.

Last year I had A LOT of issues with deliveries and my tank almost running out of gas twice. I had to call customer service many times. When I called and asked why nobody had been out I would just get the run around. They would say, it's been sent to dispatch. I would not be allowed to talk to anyone "at dispatch" just more run around. I was on the verge of going to another provider.
This year has been completely different.
I've not had any issues so far. My tank was filled without me needing to call at all.
I'm not sure what changed. But, I'm glad it did. Or, I would no longer be a customer.
I appreciate that there is a sensor on the tank so that we don't run out of fuel.

You keep track of the propane level in our tank, and refill it without us having to contact you. You send e-mails to inform us when you are planning a refill, and show up when you say you will. Your drivers have braved some touchy weather situations to get to our very rural address in the Sierra foothills, and we are most appreciative. We are very satisfied with your service.

Everyone is so kind and courteous. Customer service is awesome in the phone, and the delivery drivers are so nice. Great company to work with.
After five years of not being charged a rental fee under Western Propane, now that the company has been acquired by Superior Propane we were assessed a $120 fee because we had not placed an order in over 12 months. When we do call for a fill-up, it does come quickly and the prices are competitive. This is a second home for us and we don't use that much propane because we have a pellet stove.
I spoke to an agent of Superior propane about needing my 250 gallon propane tank and within 3 days the propane tank was outside and filling my tank. Unbelievable quick service.
