I like the convenience in location, near Sentara, and the cleanliness of the space.
We had a great experience and loved Vicky. However, I wish the safety talks were handouts on paper. I don't see any reason why we needed to spend 20% of a 30 minute lesson reviewing information that could have been on a handout. Maybe consider renaming the class, "Swimming and Water Safety" if the kids are going to spend 20% of the class talking about safety instead of swimming. I did love the class, but was disappointed at the amount of time my children spend in the water practicing swimming techniques. I do not plan on signing back up for more lessons, but would recommend them to any friend whose child is looking for an introduction to swimming class.
Well equipped, friendly, clean, plentiful programs to choose from, affordable. Love the pool!

i love the aqua fitness program--3 days a week of exercise that doesn't feel like exercise! Friendly people who are there for the same reason--we may kid each other, hurl fake insults, but all of us are there for the exercise and fellowship (i was afraid it would be just a gab session but no!). The staff is great, always greeting me with a smile both going and coming. When the monthly fee was increased a bit this year, i paid it with no complaints--best monthly expense i have!

The people you meet at the front desk are warm greeters ready to assist you without delay. Everyone shows respect and kindness to one another. The classes are exciting too. To use the equipment or to walk on the track is rewarding as well.
