very convenient to our home, new treadmills, 2 stairmills, clean, hot tub and sauna. Staff is friendly. Wish we had a back machine and steam room.

In a previous survey I asked for no use of cell phone while on the exercise machines. The use of cell phones prevents other members from using the machines as the phone user will sit there occupying the machine for approximately 7-10 minutes at the start before he/she exercises and then the same between sets. This usually means 20+ minutes of phone time per machine. There are several members I know and a few I don't know that on the floor have said the same thing to me about cell phone users. They aren't talking on their phones but reading emails and searching the internet, I've looked over their shoulder to see.
The signs the YMCA put out I assume concerning cell phone are so cryptic that they have been ignored. "Lift first Scroll Later Please allow others to workout on the equipment in between sets" is to vague. The cell phone users don't get the point. More specific signs about cell phone usage need to be put out. I do understand a person may get a text that needs an immediate reply but that doesn't take 20+ minutes.

I like the atmosphere, the machines and the cleanliness.
So far, I've only participated in the Silver Sneakers classes held on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Tina is our teacher, and she does a terrific job. When the class became so popular that the Y had to limit attendance to the first 50 who had arrived, they devised a system which was fair. Looking forward to trying other classes such as the Water Aerobics and may also use the various workout machines in the gym, proper. Lots of options to explore.
Local, easy to get to. Machines and equipment are good and seem to be sufficient for the number of people. Something for all ages.
Parking spaces are an occasional problem.
I love it!
The staff are helpful and will go out of their way to answer any questions even when I call on the phone. If they don’t know the answer they will ask someone. My mom is 96 and missed the water aerobics when she was a member of the community center. This Y is close to home and the water classes is what she enjoys.
Friendly and professional staff
One incident I did observe was an older client falling off a treadmill. Staff quickly assessed the situation, isolating the client and attending to her, and blocking off the access to that part of the weight room. Through this, they alerted an EMT unit and the entire incident was over within 20 minutes. The staff acted professionally and calmly.

I came to the Y with my daughter she was told about the silver sneakers program. When I asked about it Tim was very helpful and was able to sign me up for the program. I was very pleased with the whole experience, and would recommend the Y to anybody who asked.

I like that this location is less crowded and has a lot of equipment. It's actually farther than 3 of them from me, and about the same as two other, I just prefer this location!
