There was a variety of classes to choose from (before Covid) and almost all of the instructors were great. I have only gone twice since the closing, but all safety procedures were in place.
I am looking forward to going back in person more often.

You do a very good job keeping everything clean. Older members wipe thing down and Wish you would enforce the young members to do the same. I talking about teenagers and 20 something age group.

Have gone to YMCA to exercice in classes, weight room, and the pool. Thank you for staff who greet us with friendly smiles that welcome us all the time. Especially helping with sanitizing the equipment.

Cleanliness
R.C.Durr YMCA is a great place to work out, and the staff there is outstanding.
Right now I only workout at the machines. Years ago there was an adult water exercise class in the shallow end of the pool. Would love to see that start up again. Somehow.

Type of group workout
i am liking the way the indoor pool has been maintained, monitored, and sanitized for use by members while keeping them safe during these COVID days. Thank you.
Right now I like that it is not crowded. LOL. I like the timing of classes. I especially like the care and concern and friendliness of all the staff. It is a good place.
Because of my severe osteoarthritis, I can really only do water aerobics, so that is all I'm using at the Y. And because I'm 68 & have several co-morbidities, I'm still only doing the water aerobics in a lane by myself (if possible). I love First name removed's water aerobics class, but I'm not comfortable being around that many people at one time without a mask on.
I'm not very happy about still, on occasion, seeing people enter without a mask on, and I'm not happy about seeing people water-walking and/or water aerobicizing right next to each other in a lane while talking non-stop the entire session.
It also worries me when there's a large amount of people in the pool (swim team practice) and as today (10/19) art 9:00 AM, when the group of 15 men came in for swim training (I can't remember which military branch that training is for). They're all standing in a group right next to each other with no masks on, listening to what the trainer is telling them. I guess it can't be helped, but it made me very nervous.

I just love the Y! I am so glad there are virtual exercise classes right now. I also feel very comfortable working out at the y with all of the safety precautions.
