I really like being able to make a reservation for a lap in the pool. This was an adaptation because of COVID, but I hope, even after COVID goes away, we can still do it this way. It guarantees you a spot in the pool!
I love everything about the Y. Great staff. Great accommodations. I joined in October and I feel like through all of covid the Y has done an amazing job keeping up to allow us as much sense of normalcy as possible

Well first of all thank you for asking swimming for my grandson taking lessons there also me ask well he loves the kids club to the staff is very very nice makes me feel welcome
Love how engaged the kiddos are during the Extended Kindergarten, in a normal year. I've been disappointed since they've had to mix the class with 1st-5th grade students due to hybrid learning, at NO FAULT of the teachers and instructors. I know this has been hard on the teachers as well since they aren't able to do what they normally would with the Extended K, but if the Y could add more instructors so that for the Kindergartners it is as normal as possible, that would be preferred. My child absolutely hates going to the Y when the "big" kids are there but looks forward to it when it's just K... so if there is anything that could be done to change that so that the big kids are getting help from another instructor as opposed to taking up more of Miss Kaylen's time, it would be helpful.
I like that the YMCA has often been more organized than Boone County Schools.

How vested they are in assisting with my child's educational needs
With everything going on this school year, our child is still getting everything he needs to be successful in Kindergarten. Ms. Amber and Ms. Angie have been great to work with on meeting the needs of our son and helping him adapt to his new ADHD diagnosis and working with us to help with medication transitions. He has been coming to the Y since he was 2 and he is going to be more than ready to go into 1st grade next school year and have the ability to adapt nicely.
Definitely the staff! They really make all the difference in the world. Me and my boys love them!! The programs are great! At times I am unable to afford it but it doesn't take away from the value!
I feel comfortable sending my child to the y because i Feel she is cared for like family. They are great at contacting me with any concerns.

All of the teachers have been so accommodating to my child with special needs. This is our first daycare experience and my child has progressed so much more developmentally since being there, even more than he was with preschool. Both of my boys love it there and love their teachers.
I'm thankful that my son can attend the childcare program and receive classwork assistance while we are having virtual learning.
Miss Becky and Miss Amber are amazing. The level of care and education our kids receive will have a significant impact on their lives. Andrea and I also greatly appreciate the piece of mind that the personnel provide.

The RC Durr YMCA staff has done a wonderful job with our son during the NTI debacle that is the 2Phone number removed school year. We cannot thank them enough!!

It is very important to me and my family to be able to keep up with our workouts and programs. It is difficult to wear the mask when doing cardio fitness. When will be able to unmask during workout time?
I love that the kids get plenty of gross motor skills time. My kids demonstrate daily that they’re being prepped for kindergarten. I trust the staff and know they have my kids’ best interest in mind.
