My son is enrolled in the before and after school program. He has made multiple friends and loves it. We had signed up when we found out his school was not having a before and after school program due to staffing issues.
It gives me the chance to drop my son off early to school. He gets to do activities and seems to enjoy it so far.
I can't say enough good things about the R.C. Durr YMCA. I feel like like their programs have definitely helped my son with his social skills and educational development. The YMCA was the one thing that remained consistent with his learning when the schools were virtual during the past year. The YMCA has a strong and dedicated staff who are helping my boy grow into a smart and well-behaved young man.
Plenty of activities for the children to keep them busy & active! Staff is very friendly and caring.
I’m not comfortable doing my classes in person right now but that doesn’t mean I won’t be able to do group exercise, because you guys are so amazing that it’s online .
Just wish you guys offered RIPPED online too
We absolutely adore the child care directors, especially Mr. Ligan, and all of the different activities they plan for our children. I live that each day is something new and stimulating for them and creative! They are learning, using their hands, minds and getting dirty and being KIDS! I love the pictures abd the daily updated that come home with them, honestly, i wish we would have started them earlier....but....pandemic! Hehe. We adore it :)

We love that we can always count on the YMCA for safe, engaging, and fun after school and summer care. The staff is amazing at communicating with us about our son, going the extra mile to help him succeed, and celebrating right along with him when goals are met.

Kids love going and it’s so nice for those parents that have to be at work early! It’s been great!
That he feels save and excited to come to the program. I am asked everyday if we are going to make it to school before the bus so he can play in the gym before school. That he gets homework time/help (even in the 1st grade) to help the busy schedule at home. He is loved by staff and is missed when he is not there.
The before and after school care is going well this year. Kate is doing a great job balancing a safe environment for the kids, expecting obedience but also making it a fun environment also. I appreciate her communication to the parents! Very important and missed the years prior.

I like the pool, but have not used many of the programs yet
We enjoy the flexibility. Living 30 min away, I appreciate that I can walk in anytime and get my workout in, whether 5 days a week or only three.
We homeschool, so I am thankful that my children are able to come along, sit at a table, and work on their independent studies while I get my gym hour in.
