Connectivity with people at the Y. It’s completely different than the other gyms. There’s just something different there if you’re open to it.

Locker rooms and showers are clean with bright lighting. Friendly and helpful staff. Email confirmation that I have secured a spot for a class (lap swimming).

Before COVID-19, it was a lot different. Since then, the outdoor swim times are hardly worth driving there and sitting down to enjoy a day in the sun and swimming, It really isn't even 2 hours since everything has to be cleaned and we have to leave 15 minutes early, Reservations are a pain, too, because sometimes, your daily schedule changes and then you have to go into the computer and unregister! I realize this isn't the Y's fault but I've heard that a lot of people are leaving due to the restrictions.
