I use the pool for exercise. I believe the Y is doing the best they can during the pandemic. I might ultimately decide it still feels too risky but not because of anything they are doing.
Love the outside pool!
I like the water aerobics, I prefer the evening classes. I am anxious for the 7 PM class to start up. Sue is a great instructor.

Large pool
The pool has been wonderful for our whole family and we love the diving board. My daughter and I enjoy working out in the fitness center. The staff are always really friendly and helpful. This is the first time we have been members and we love it! We just found out about camp for the kids which sounds great.
Open swim and lap swim.
The front desk employees, and most of the aquatic support team appear to have a true passion for their job.
I like the way the lap lane registration has been set up; this system should be adopted/kept post-COVID-19. The registration program would allow people who work early and have to be in/out of the pool at certain times a better peace of mind.
I am very satisfied with the lap swimming options during these very challenging times.

Exercise classes
I just started at the YMCA a couple weeks ago. So far the classes are easy to schedule. Boot Camp with Amanda T. and H.I.I.T. with Marjie C. are good classes because they cover a wide range of exercises which work good for younger people and older people like me. The instructors take the time if needed to explain a certain exercise to an individual if it is needed. The classes are very upbeat and run at a good pace. I feel I have accomplished something when the class is over.

I really enjoyed the step class we use to have on Tuesday and Thursday. Maryann is a great instructor! I truly hope these classes will make a return.
Staff are welcoming and helpful. I appreciate how diligently the Y is being about keeping programs available in the midst of the current national crisis.
Fitness center not packed even though small
Swimming in lanes is easy to reserve for and goes smoothly when I arrive. Staff always is friendly and helpful.
Lap swimming and outdoor pool
I like that gentle yoga was one of the classes brought back. I would love to see more than the one offered but understand it will take time and other classes may take preference. I actually find I am more likely to attend what Ive signed up for as opposed to just deciding to come to the Y.

I like the instructors for silver sneakers & Livestrong program. Judy really was getting me into shape, prior to the shut down & I miss working with her. I love swimming, but haven't done any of the regularly scheduled water classes.
