Jason was great at helping us pick out and size the right bike for our 11 year old. When the bike wasn't available, he had it transferred from another location. Once it was in, he worked with our son to show him how the bike works and to make sure the seat and handle bars were in the right spot. Professional service!

Professional personal service. Mechanics and sales pros who actually know bikes. They do all my major mechanical work since I got into road cycling over 25 years ago. All of my bikes were purchased from Garner (Northbrook) as well. There is no other bike shop like Garner Cyclery around. For full service and getting the right bike for your needs, it's the place to go.

I have been a regular customer here for many years and have always received great treatment and care but Rob and Jake went above and beyond this past week and I am extremely grateful. I was involved in a head on crash with an e-bike rider who was coming around a blind curve on a bike path. Minimal damage to the e-bike and he was able to "ride" away while my bike was not rideable. The front wheel was damaged beyond repair along with the front brakes and shifter. I took the bike in, which had been serviced back in March for the season and Rob took care of me. I explained to him that I was in the process of moving and would be leaving Illinois for good in one week. Despite being pushed out three weeks with repairs and service, Rob and Jake completed the work, replacing the front wheel, tire, and tube, as well as the brakes and shifter and fixed the chain as well in just a matter of a few days allowing me to have the bike ready to be packed on the moving truck. A huge THANK YOU to Rob and Jake and to George Garner Cyclery. And good luck to Rob who is retiring this month!

I'm a frequent visitor to the Northbrook store wiith my two Trek road bikes. Work done includes a new bottom bracket, handlebar taping, spring tune ups, replacement tires and tubes, brake adjustments, new chains or chain tightenings, help with saddle positioning, flat repairs, and a new floor pump.
The fact that I'm a return customer should say enough about my view of the quality of their work and the way they treat their customers.
I know their staffer Ryan the best and he has covered most of what I list above. Always a good experience.
