Open family swim was great.
All new equipment and everyting is in working order
Such kind people!!
Very accommodating, friendly. Everyone is always cheerful and willing to help out in anyway. Very clean facility. Definately a 10 rating.
I think that Donovan is helpful and nice. The new locker room is awesome. I miss the wall hooks. I love that the pool is kept in the warm side. I love that the soap containers are kept full. I miss the bathing suit spinner.
I like all the yoga classes that have been added.
The teachers and lifeguards are excellent. The staff iis polite and very knowledgeable.
Our priority right now is having good childcare options that allow us to workout. We appreciate that kids club is available almost every day after work, and on Saturdays.
We also love the group fitness classes, and the EGYM has been great for nights when we only have time for a quick workout!
The positivity and good humor of the instructors.
Wish there were more Silver Sneakers and Water Aerobics type classes
Your facility has all the amenities I could ask for. The equipment and pools are great and I love the sauna
Exercise classes
I am a PCY member, but sometimes i can’t get in to a class ( group power) at PCY so i come to that class at BASH. Mandy Lee is the instructor. She is a treasure! She is motivating and funny and really knows “her stuff.” She’s the reason i’m willing to trek all the way east to BASH.
Varsity of classes, great teachers and opportunity to make friends.
M-W-F Exercise Group is Excellent!! I’m building strength, toning, and most importantly for me is my improving balance.
Fun way to stay healthy. Teachers are great. Easy way to socialize. The Y offers so many other opportunities to connect beyond the classes.
Love the pool. Sometimes a little cold. Love the music tho sometimes there isn’t any.
Love the walking path.
Everyone is very kind. There is no judgment and everyone is happy and supportive. No one makes fun of me.
Easily accessible.
I like everything about it...it's a verrrry nice place.
I primarily use the workout room. Although it has numerous machines and free hand weights, I would like to see a second rack for those interested in squats, deadlifts, bench press and overhead press. Those exercises have been shown to be the most comprehensive exercises for any age because they stress the entire body - increasing bone density, improving insulin sensitivity and other cellular improvements in addition to strengthening muscles, tendons, and ligaments. They are also very functional exercises in that all of us need to stand, lift things from the ground, push things overhead, and so forth. I would also like to see 1.25 pounds as the smallest weight to add to a bar instead of 2.5 pounds for those of us getting up in years, and even a second bar that is maybe 33 pounds or less, instead of only the 45 pound bar.
I also enjoy swimming laps in the recreational pool because of the warm water. The other indoor pool is too cold and the outdoor pool is... well, outdoors, and I am limited to indoor swimming because of precancerous skin conditions.
Everyone who works at the Y is so helpful and friendly. When I go to dance class in the morning I always get a welcoming greeting, I look forward to seeing a welcoming smiling face.
Our dance instructor is Zamara and she is the best, our class is usually full, it is such a good class, I am 83 and this class is so good for your memory, you have to remember the steps, the routine the steps are going to be in when you dance and the music gets you going,. I lost 50 lbs. and needed an exercise class this class was perfect because I love to dance and I knew I would stay with it, that was almost 14 yrs. ago.
Classes are all day long
The Y needs to do more to get water aerobics instructors. We love Toni on Wednesday and Fridays but need an energetic teacher for Monday. We loved Tonya when she was a sub. We also loved Bev. Some of the people in class just cannot stop talking. It is rude to the instructors plus the other attendees that don't want to listen to everything that goes on in their present and past lives.
I like the community feel that each program has and it makes it easy to get to know people. I like the professional aspect of the leaders and their wanted to help each one reach whatever goal they have set for themselves. I like the way the members who come at 5;00 AM have built a ‘family’ and watch out for each other when someone is missing and/or encouraging one another and/or helping each other with needs outside of the YMCA.
The pool and lots of open slots for swimming

The Silver Sneaker is a great acknowledge of our elderly and gives us a fantastic opportunity to not only exercise but meet and greet others.
We love to utilize the pool. Not only has it allowed us to us it for homeschooling, recreation, swim lessons, and the recovery of my knee but it's also been well priced for my daughter and I. And that I thank you for along with all the great things you have provided us with!
