Water fitness classes with Mel
Clermont Y, You currently have a yellow and white water treadmill that’s sitting on the deck of the indoor pool. From what I can tell it hasn’t ever been used and been there for months. I asked the lifeguards if they could help me put it in the water so I could use it I was told…..they didn’t know how to do it and don’t even know if it’s even been used yet. I would like to try and use it. I’m a longtime member there. I know it’s a donated item, instructions are probably online, but let’s see if we can get it up and going if it’s there, and please don’t put it in storage so we don’t see it. All that needs to be done is to be put in the corner of the lower section of the shallow end for people to use it. It probably takes two people to get in and out of the water. Or leave it in the water, it’s a relatively smaller item. Thank you very much-Name removed-Clermont YMCA Member
I enjoy the water workouts. As a stroke victim I appreciate the instructors in the water programs. I like that they stand on platforms near the edge of the pool so I can see the correct moves easily. I feel safe with your lifeguards as well. I introduced myself to the lifeguards before my first class and was with their committee to me feeling safe. I highly recommend your facility to everyone!
The activities are varied, something for all ages. I especially like having the pool availability.
Friendly members …trainers actually participate in class alongside members (some other places do not!)
Programs are well organized. Facility is clean and welcoming. Very nice assortment of activities and programs.
They help you be a better human being both physically, mentally, emotionally, socially and spiritually. It is an atmosphere that is much needed in today’s culture.
I e been out of town for quite some time. I’m able to return to using the Y again. My app had expired and needed updating for access. I encountered really helpful personnel at the front desk… so friendly… so helpful! Welcoming!

Weight machines
The drop in Pickleball group on Mon-Wed-Fri is welcoming and fun. Great level of play and rotation. Very well organized and pleasant space.
I have only been to one Yoga class but it was great.

Desk staff always friendly and courteous. Members are also welcoming. Mostly, I come for Sarah Miller’s Zumba class… worth driving from Clifton for!!!

The instructors in the silver sneakers are fantastic.
I really only use the exercise room. Once in a while I shoot basketball. I should probably take advantage of the water aerobics.

People of my age and abilities are there
They are energizing and engaging. Instructor is excellent.
There is something for all ages and it’s a good place to meet new friends
There is a variety of programs available for adults.
Timing and cleanliness. I like the online registration for programs. Very simple.
