Every place has its ups and downs. But the Y seems to have mostly ups and it looks like
great improvement at the Parkville Y. The pool has greatly improved and the locker room looks great. Keep up the good work

I love coming to the Y! My husband and I joined a little over a year ago and we love coming to Parkville!
Personally, I love all the different options to work out! I swim laps, go to Water Fitness and Bodypump classes, go to an occasional cardio class, use free weights, and also the gym equipment. The elliptical is my "go to" right now. There is no other place that I could go and have all these options!
Liking all the renovations that are being done! Can't wait to see this new classroom! It's going to be huge! No more squeezing bodies in for Bodypump! I bet attendance will go up as a result of this renovation! Money well spent!
My two requests for improvements involve the pool area. Please get a new speaker/sound system for the instructors! My husband and I feel strongly that they shouldn't have to buy their own! It would also be SO lovely to have locker rooms like Towson does-ones that open right up into the pool area, where it is nice and warm! That hallway is so very cold in the wintertime especially! If that could be figured in the budget, that would be such a plus! I bet pool attendance will go up as a result of this improvement!

Parkville has some of everything. Good play area for kids. Always some equipment open (unlike Towson)
The center is very clean and the staff helpful.

Wish they would replace the mirror in the womens locker room by the cycle studio...

The fitness aspect of the y fits my needed very well . Classes and machines. I really have no experience with any of the other programs offered.

to our Community. Our Togetherhood Director

I appreciate the staff at the Y. My daughter wasn't doing well with the initial instructor (totally her personal comfort preference) and they accommodated us by switching her to another instructor.
The new Expresso bikes with new courses.. Only one major fault with them and that is on the menu for course to select, the "STUDIO" is a great workout but you can not stand up on this bike to do the speed work in the video.
