It's nice to be back! My husband and I have used the pool at the Y in Parkville. We feel quite safe walking into the facility, swimming for an hour, and coming home after that. We appreciate all the Y is doing so that we feel comfortable coming.
I am a return customer. The fitness center in the senior center closed. I prefer the Y, but my friend told me it economical costing $100 a year instead of the monthly chargeby the Y.
I am not a group exercise person and the staff only interact if you want them to. The center is clean and staff friendly and quiet. Using the treadmill in peace is something I look forward to. Since mid-March I had to stay at home and became very sedintary. It's nice to back to the walking in peace and quiet.

The employees are trying their best to keep the Y safe by cleaning equipment, bathrooms are clean and floor. Children center is very nice with activities and very clean.
I have noticed that some members once in the gym while walk to the equipment are not wearing their mask, even after the Y leaders ask them to please wear their mask. Rules have to be
carried out for the protection of everyone.
This is a great place to work out! There is a good range of equipment, and valued extra frills like personal TVs on cardio machines. Employees are friendly and there is a very nice community here.
