Friendly Staff and a clean environment
The reception at the front was very personable and welcoming.
The main thing I enjoy about the Y is how clean it is and the daycare service that is available to parents with children. The daycare has allowed me to get back to working out knowing my child is okay.
Friendly atmosphere. Everything I need / pool , exercise equipment, convenient location. Water class instructor is excellent. Shes very engaging , makes the class fun while doing great exercises for balance and strength.
This gym has a nice atmosphere. Good exercising equipment too. Friendly staff. You couldn't ask for more.
I have been member for a long time now. The front office is always very kind and GYM as well maintained and the instructors are great.

My experience at the Y has been great! My personal trainer, Kimmie was excellent and tough in getting me in shape. I enjoyed my 12 sessions with her and found a friend.
The other staff members were always jovial and friendly and eager to help as well.
Although I had no children to attend, I observed that the family environment was applicable to all age groups and the parents could enjoy exercising knowing their children would have fun and be safe.
Another thing I liked was seeing the various ages of adults who were senior citizens to young adults participating exercising or using the weight equipment or free weights... truly this is a "no judgement zone".

I have been a member for many years. My family and I love coming to The Y. We previously lived in a location in close proximity to roughly 3 Y locations. Now that my family has relocated we are not able to get to The Y as often as we would like to. It would be a wonderful addition if there could be a local added to the White Marsh//Middle River/Essex/Dundalk region. I know Dundalk has the swim center it doesn’t provide the full Y experience. Although there are plenty of gym options in those areas none of them provide the sense of family and community that The Y provides.
Great people,
The staff are always so kind, it makes the whole experience a bit more cozy. Plus they have plenty of things for my three year old to get into and he loves the day center that they have. He's always super excited to go back and play with the other kids.
Availibility of classes
The Parkville site is my favorite location 👍
I love the classes, I think the instructors are really good. The staff seems to have a very positive attitude and are very helpful. The members in my class are friendly with each other. I also like the way the Y is charitable and has programs that help the needy.
Me and my kids love coming to the pool! They great you at the door and everyone is friendly.
