The Parkville location seems to have a gift for hiring the nicest staff members. Even in light of all the extra work they are doing, cleaning and screening, to keep us safe as possible, they are always helpful and cheerful.

Such wonderful employees! They are also friendly and willing to help you in anyway they possibly can. If you have any questions about the machines or the effectiveness of which one for you would be the best, they are always there for us.
It is quiet and easy to get a lane to swim laps.
I feel comfortable with the COVID protocols at the Y.

Wish there was a sauna!
Things are going good!
1. Bodypump is so good! Almost every class back to an hour. Oh the joy and pain of it all! I come Tues night and Sat morning.
2. Water Fitness-Tues/Thurs night. Don't change a thing! It's great! Still support signing up for those classes. I bet we will be able to use the dumbbells again soon. Just put some wipes there and we could clean our own.
3. Would love some cardio classes! Missing a dance one specifically. A weekend one would be REALLY nice!
4. Lap swim. We usually sign up of Sunday morning. Sometimes have to go to another location because Parkville is full. You have to sign up right on the hour to get a slot. Might be nice to have shared lap lanes. That worked just fine at Towson this morning.
LOVE THE POOL
The staff is AWESOME!
I am only taking body pump right now due to cov-id but it fulfills what I currently need. I can do some at home but a class is what I really need, I need the push.
They are great at keeping surfaces and equipment clean. If it weren't for the Y being available during this time, I would not have an outlet to lift free weights and barbells, being on my workout program and loosing 10 pounds in 3 months! Very friendly staff. Helpful staff that will go out of their way to help you.
The equipment is awesome and the staff are super friendly and keep everything so clean!
The staff at Parkville is exceptionally friendly, courteous & knowledgeable!!
Safe and clean environment. Machines that work 99% of the time. The Activtrax is amazing. It's like having your personal trainer.
Smaller crowds
I like the friendly and supportive guards - they often are ask how the swim was and often open the pool up before the advertised time for the swim. The pool is cute and it is open.
The facility is clean and all the staff are very friendly and helpful.
My return to the Y has been very rewarding. During the time we had to stay at home, I had missed exercising at the Y considerably. Once it reopened, the staff was very prepared to keep the members safe and to make the facilities in terrific shape. I have been using the Y in Parkville since July, and exercising has made me feel good about myself and life in general. I am concerned that sometimes the facility is so empty and that the low numbers may impact keeping it opened. It has made for a very enjoyable experience overall.
People, Equipment, Cleanliness
I first started working out at the Towson YMCA in the early 1970s. I loved it then, and I love it even more now! It’s has a great family-like atmosphere operating within an amazing facility.
Safe, clean, quiet lap pool well managed by Jeremy, the pool manager, and kept safe and sanitary by the lifeguards, especially Britney. Kind, friendly staff, especially Karen and Brie, who go out of they way to help with scheduling snafus. Could not survive in the current Covid-19 situation without this peaceful oasis.

Not too many people and it is clean. Everyone is so friendly and helpful
I like the workers, the way they make you feel very comfortable. And they are willing to help you with your goals. It's a more better place than other gyms.
The Y amenities are very clean, especially the pool.
I do often have difficulty not getting an answer when I call which is disappointing (Parkville location).
Other than that it's a very enjoyable place.
