My entire family benefits from our Y membership and experience. They are the most family oriented gym around. My 5 year old loves her friends in the stay and play, has had wonderful times at the special kids events they have done and begs to go to the pool. I enjoy the weight training and have plenty to work with even as a elite athlete. My wife enjoys the cardio as well as toning equipment. Plenty of machines and rarely a wait. My mother in law takes advantage of the water aerobics and the close nit senior community that always has something going on. Add in some yoga, spin and other classes for a mix. Recently we have seen the pickle ball groups having a blast as well. The staff is always helpful, friendly and available. As a former director and leader of what was once the largest health club chains on the east Coast I have been more than impressed and thrilled with our experience with the Y. Really a complete experience without the negatives that can come with some gyms and gym goers.

Expanded workout space. However, a heavy duty punching bag similar to the ones at the Towson Orokawa and Waverly YMCA Centers is needed.
Professional staff, safe environment conducive to achieving personal goals. The Y is clean and provides various avenues for sanitation and ways to secure personal goods such as a jacket or purse.

Friendly members and staff at the Parkville ymca. Really appreciate that the pool was thoroughly cleaned this year and hope that continued efforts will be made to keep the water clean and clear. Have replaced gym equipment frequently and upgraded areas for youth. Have added food pantry and holiday drives for less fortunate in the community
