With summer coming, it would be nice to have more time between Family Swim and Water Fitness class in the evening. The chaos of kids getting out and pool toys needing to be picked up and lifeguards cleaning all that up and WF starting on time is craziness!
Cleaner pool locker room
Swimming lessons with Tim were great.
The people who work there and the other people that swim in the morning are nice.
Locker rooms are fine.
The pool water is warm.
My only suggestions are to clean or replace the shower curtains and clean or replace the rugs in the locker room.
The employees are so friendly, the equipment is well maintained and clean, and it never feels like an intimidating "gym" atmosphere.

Life has intruded and I just don't have time to go to the gym when I need to take care of my aging mother.
The Center is great, I really miss my water fitness instructor, but I understand she has health issues to address.
I think the workout equipment assessments should be done by people with experience with the centers machines. I did not feel complexly prepared to do the circuit on my own.
But YES I would certainly recommend the center to anyone and everyone,

As a member of the YMCA of Parkville community, I can attest to its friendly, family-oriented, and accommodating atmosphere. Today, my daughter completed her Sunday 8:30 am swim lessons, and we've already enrolled her for the next session. Her swim instructor is truly remarkable; she effortlessly connects with the kids and encourages them all. We feel incredibly fortunate to be a part of such a welcoming and supportive community.
