I appreciate the variety of classes for my kids. I wish there were more hours for stay and play, as well as sufficient staffing for stay and play. We usually do the before and after care, and kids classes. As an adult, I can't enjoy the facility myself because stay and play hours aren't all day and there is usually a wait list where we can't sign the children in.
It has lots of exercise equipment and opportunities for both children and adults as well as valuable training and activities.
I do however wish there was more consistent access to gym equipment for smaller children during open gym. For example one or two smaller or lowered basketball hoops or soccer goals readily accessible for small children to use

Leaving my previous gym and joining the Y was the best decision. I love to swim. The lifeguards are great. The dance classes are awesome, in particular with Betsy. The equipment is always accessible. Your employees are always welcoming. My friend and her family recently joined due to my experience. Looking forward to trying some new activities in which you offer.

There’s lots of classes and equipment to workout. The instructors and all the people that work there are professional, helpful and very courteous. This Parkville, Y that I’ve been going to regularly for 3 1/2 years is a very friendly place to be and I feel good to being apart of it.

The facility is clean and well managed. When I enter the door, I’m greeted by staff members who know my name. The Y in Parkville is a welcoming place where I’ve met some people who I call friends. I also like that they have a food pantry where they feed people who are in need of a helping hand.
