Wonderful staff & environment
My first week at the Y has been wonderful. The friendly, personable staff made me feel at home right away. Whatever questions came up, they were quick to find answers for me. It’s been special to feel comfortable the first time I walked into the door to friendly greetings at the desk, and a feeling of welcome back since. I also liked my 1st pilates class, and enjoyed a protein smoothie afterwards by the fireplace. This Orokawa Y is a very special community asset!
The trainer who worked w my 10yr old son was fantastic. My son was shown how to use all the cardio machines and he was given a sense of confidence in himself as well. Very well done. Thanks!

The clear windows in the gym area bring in natural sun light. It is a lot better than other gyms that only have florescent light.
Great classes, especially Aqua Zumba with Yoko. She is amazing!
I like the sense of community that is everywhere at the Y. I have been going for years, and made many friends in my classes. It encourages me to go, even when I'm not feeling like going, because I'll see my friends.
The YMCA isa very welcoming place togo & visit & exercise. I have just started a Saturday Yoga course which is the best!

We love the Orokowa Y and recommend it to all our friends in the area! The staff is friendly, the daycare is great, the facility is always clean. We always feel a real sense of community here.
The excellent water aerobics classes, the wonderful friendly welcome I get when scanning my Y membership card, and the equally cheery “farewell” when it’s time to leave. The pool and the instructors are fabulous. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
