The Y offers many opportunities for fitness and fun! It is a beautiful facility and the staff is very friendly. I enjoy seeing many generations of members!
Sports mix is a great way for my son to try different skills and learn about fundamentals. The coaches are very nice and encouraging too!
Me and my whole family love the karat class. The teacher is excellent.I would highly commend it.
One on one with each kid and the safety precautions
Instructors were great.
I like the general feel of the place, though the locker rooms could use some sprucing up, and a bit more space for functional training (using a BOSU ball, weighted bars, medicine balls etc.). Also, several of the machines are a bit tight, making it hard to work right next to someone (I'm thinking of you, triceps machines).
Low key, not super competitive, but it does seem like they could do a few more age appropriate skills with the kids each week.
Always great programming at The Y. I would only like to suggest a homeschool art program as well as PE.
Great facility and the steps to teach the basic principles of swimming are well thought out.
Only notes is the Miss Sam is our teacher and I think at times she may not recognize that the kids are a little fearful of swimming on their own too quickly/early in the class. I think she needs to better identify when they are fearful and help them continue to take tiny baby steps to feel more confident before she asks them to try a next level. She seems to be better about this as the class has progressed.
I enjoy the classes
