I'm so grateful for the yoga classes. I have several injuries I'm recovering from and the yoga classes are helping a great deal toward healing. I'm hoping to be able to return to exercising again soon.
I love the Y staff! I love seeing people of all ages taking care of themselves! Blessings,
Becky

A place for the entire family!
Relaxing. Fun. I am allowed at age 80 to move about machines at my own pace. I have several friends that attend this Y.
Brian is an amazing Zumba teacher. Karl is an excellent Yoga instructor.
So many exercise and aquatic classes are offered as well as a variety of equipment. The trainers are friendly and very helpful.
It really is a great place to take your kids and do stuff like swimming. I probably am a little biased because I'm 38 right now but when I was six or seven years old both my brother and myself went to the summer camp there at the Towson Y and that was an amazing experience for both of us and I went to preschool in that little red brick building up on the hill in 1985 I believe. But I would say that the Towson Y is still just is great and my girls love to go there swimming we actually just went 2 days ago.
That was all speak text so it may have came out a little jumbled up but in a nutshell we really love the Y and everybody that works there is very friendly and professional and it's just a very relaxing environment and I don't feel the same way when I go into other places if I'm a guest for a birthday party or something but the why is just a very comfortable place
Great staff. Wonderful facilities.
A festive aptmospher.

Always clean. Friendly staff. Great classes.
Stephanie Keene is an excellent instructor!
It's a family affair! My husband, and I go with our baby, my senior aged father works out there every other day, and we love to spend time together! My mother is now considering joining us for classes and water aerobics!
I really love the Y at Towson as a community and activity center. The greeters have been very friend. When I picked up my tickets, the person who gave me the fobs was very helpful and informative on his tour. The facilities are clean and even with all the children about, its very orderly. Waiting conditions are excellent.
I would have given you a perfect 10 except for one negative experience. I have two children in swim class and both have Matt for their instructor. When I first met him with my 5 year old, we showed up 10 minutes early to class. I asked him where should we wait. He was a standout because everyone else that I encountered had a friendly manner and smile. He replied to me "I don't care. Anywhere you want."
This is the second week of swim. My 14 year old had missed the first class but attended the second. At his third class I watched from the waiting room as my 14 year old came into the pool area and approach Matt. I saw Matt direct him to the bench along the wall of the pool room. Class had started. I went into the pool room and asked Matt why the 14 year old wasn't in the class. He said that he had approached and asked my 14 year old if he was in the class and was told "no". My 14 year shook his head and later told me that Matt had told him he was not in the class.
From the waiting room, I see Matt can be friendly with some kids but sullen in general. He's a standout as being non-representative of the Y. For example, my 5 year old has been doing the rock wall. She is not in the class but goes during the open period. All of the instructors are so patient and helpful, that they are a joy to watch. Other than Matt, I find this Y to be so warm and welcoming. Thank you guys for being there.
Great!
