I love swimming laps in the lap pool and the quietness has a calming effect, much like meditation. And I like much the exercise equipment in the fitness center. The receptionists are also very friendly and cheerful.
However, there are at least two treadmills that are not working and have been that way for quite a while. There aren't even signs on them (last two in the second row).

I like the equipment in the workout area. I also like the employees and the genuine concern they show for not only my workout routines but my overall health and well being. During a period where I was ill and couldn't work out, I frequently received messages asking how I was doing. Ann Lake in particular went above and beyond to help maintain my contact with the Y during a personally very difficult period.
The selection of classes that are offered and the camaraderie
I feel welcome at the Y. They have a well stocked and clean fitness center. The staff is super friendly. I feel comfortable working out there.

I enjoy coming to exercise on the equipment and attending the various classes. I also like the fact that the Y offers trips for members and other social activities that allow members to interact as a group and get to know one another.

My 8 year old daughter has taken basketball classes and swimming lessons. We stuck with the swimming lessons and she has improved tremendously within 1 year and 3 weeks. Instructors are patient, encouraging and hold them accountable for the work/skill set they are building in each child. She will remain with swimming because that what she loves. I will start venturing out soon for myself. As of now our 8 year old is the primary user of our family membership.
