I need a walker due to a traumatic brain injury from a car accident, and I have never felt out of place or that I don’t belong. If anything, it’s always been the opposite. I’ve felt encouraged and welcomed!
I love the classes and instructors. I also love the friends I’ve made. However, slightly unhappy today when I showed up for the Body Balance class and no instructor was there. Looked on the website and it wasn’t canceled; proceeded to front desk only to be told that the instructors are independent contractors and not affiliated with the Y…!!! Then told to leave in 15 minutes if no one shows up. I would think that the Y would be responsible for checking/calling to see what was going on. Very disappointed.

We have to be in downtown Tampa once a week for our kids' class, so having Gilbertson so close bye is perfect for us. We have a 2 1/2 year old, so the babysitting gives us a chance to workout.

The "Y" in Zephyrhills is very easy to get to. The various areas are kept clean and well lit. The staff is helpful and attentive. The instructors are energetic and enthusiastic. As a snowbird I certainly miss the "gym" when returning north and look forward to returning in the fall. Thanks Zephyrhills YMCA!
