Nice, clean, well maintained facility. Extensive variety of exercise equipment. Group classes. Outdoor pool with dedicated lanes for swimming or cooling off. Most importantly, it has a friendly atmosphere.
A variety of activities are offered every day, and the themed weeks keep it interesting for kids who attend every week.
My child has been attending Camp Cristina for the last 3 years. I feel very comfortable that she is safe and having a great time whether it's day camp, Kids Day Out, or swim lessons. Staff know my child by name even months after she has not attended. They are open to feedback and actually use it to make improvements.

Pools are maintained neat and staff are also friendly with kids.
Gym etiquette is the biggest issue at Spurlino. In the main exercise floor with the weights you have people taking 3 different sets of dumbbells and holding onto them for 20 minutes. People socializing or on their phones while holding a piece of equipment hostage from others. I have even seen people put their stuff on a treadmill to hold it for after their workout. The treadmills were having issues before with a lot of errors but they seems to be better now. The water bottle refilled never work and a lot of the lockers dont actually lock
Great Community
My son had a really good time. He came home tired and excited to go back every day. The staff that I interacted with were all really great! Everyone was kind and helpful and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The afternoon car line guy always made my day brighter. The few little things that my son didn’t love weren’t detrimental to his week and he felt comfortable enough to self advocate which is huge win in my book!

I personally have always enjoyed bringing my daughter here. However i was disappointed this session because the teacher rarely showed up, she showed up maybe twice out of the 6weeks and my daughter loved her. It was very difficult for me to encourage my child when there was so consistency with the teacher.
My son loved every minute he spent at the cristina summer camp. He was looking forward to going back every day. I will definitely book again.
My son enjoyed camp each day and really improved his golf skills! I could tell the counselors were kind and caring. He is excited to come back next year.
Bob Sierra is very friendly and welcoming. The lifeguards have all been great and the pool and gym are always kept nice and clean.

Ms. Kirsty is the best! She is very knowledgeable and patient. My 7 year old really enjoyed learning with her and she made the lessons so fun! He showed lots of interest and is learning so much- thanks to her amazing teaching style. We are very pleased and so happy he was assigned to her for swim class. We are even considering doing another round!
The instructors were fantastic and it felt very safe having the life guards available.

My daughter had an amazing time at the YMCA camp! She was very excited, when she came back home on the first day, to tell me about the bird home that she had made. She was a very happy girl that week. Thank you!
This is my daughters second summer doing a week of swim camp (8-9 years old) and she loves it. They do so much during the day it keeps them busy and tired by pick up time. 10/10 recommend
