One on one instruction
I love how encouraging the teachers are. I also like that there are additional workers who make sure kids are being safe during the classes. Everyone I’ve met there has been really kind and helpful.
the teachers are great. parents still need to stop saving chairs for kids who are actually in class and not using them since there is not a large viewing area. Along with saving "changing rooms"
Everyone is so nice. My daughter loves it. I love that they work with each kid same amount of time and go down the slide at the end. I hear some swimming pools with lessons don’t have a slide.
Great staff
My granddaughter has Chris S as her instructor, and she can't wait for each subsequent lesson! Chris is very supportive, giving positive reinforcement and high fives for a job well done! He gives me input on her progress and what he plans to work on in the next lessons. She is feeling extremely positive about her swim experience!
We're happy with the instructors, the class size, the focused attention, the quality of the dedicated facilities, and the fun nature of the program!
The kids love coming to lessons and are supported in growing their skills
The hands on teaching with my kiddos.
Miss Heather is the best! Her enthusiasm and fun personality instills confidence in young swimmers who are trying new things. She easily earns their trust and helps them progress. We love Heather and look forward to her class every week!
Great instructors!!!!!
The instructor and the steps they are teaching my child to do!
We love the atmosphere and culture. The staff as so friendly and personable with kids names being used as they walk in the door. The teachers give constrictive feedback each week and help us understand each swimmer's goals.
Every instructor my daughter has had has done an exceptional job of teaching her not only basic, but additional swim skills and strokes. Highly recommend to anyone!
Everyone is nice. The instructors are knowledgeable.
My son looks forward to swimming every week and has made a ton of progress!
My little one cried most of the lesson but her teacher was so patient and positive!
John has progresses well and is a great swimmer thanks to the teachers at swimtastic
i am happy with swimtastic the instructors are friendly and my daughter is loving her time she spend in the pool
My daughters love their weekly swims at Swimstastic, they love the variety of instructors that they’ve had and have gained skills much quicker than I imagined in our 8-9 months of lessons.
I’ve heard other parents speak negatively about frequent instructor changes, substitutions, etc. I actually appreciate having different eyes on my children as I know different instructors see different things, they each have their own way of coaching and they each have their own tips/tricks for any challenges my children may be having, My girls actually like this too.
The one challenge here is that there can sometimes be a disconnect. My example is this: a week ago my 7 year old had a sub that she loved. This sub noticed that at times if my daughter didn’t get a good breath in her freestyle she would panic a bit. The instructors advice to her was to take a minute in sidestroke position to slow down, get her breath and then transition back to freestyle. After class the instructor shared this with me, noting that she loved what she saw in lessons that day with this tool utilized- I also noticed while watching that it helped tremendously. As a mom who’s number one concern is life-saving skills in the water I was thrilled with this instructors out-of-the box thinking and ability to give my child an option that could truly be life saving in an unforeseen situation.
Tonight, with her regular instructor, she was told that that’s not really an option. That her breath needs to be a freestyle breath and he worked to coach her through that. Now from a technique and testing standard I completely understand that there may need to be a “right” way to do things. But I do see this as a disconnect because it’s hard for the child to then know which feedback to work towards.
In the words of my 7 year old, “they need to figure this out because I’m not really sure what I’m supposed to do.” ☺️
I appreciate your willingness to collect feedback on a regular basis. As a family that owns a business that also serves children and families I am very aware of the challenges that this niche entails.
Thank you for all of your effort and work!
Small groups are great so my child gets enough individual instruction. I love the location, facilities, and how quick yet impactful the time is!
Lots of times available to accommodate working parents' schedules, classes are always on time, the curriculum is appropriate, and the instructors are friendly and great with kids.
Both my daughter and son are taking classes. It’s been great to see them grow up in the water. My daughter has become so confident with her swimming. She loves her teacher, Ms. Brielle. My son just switched out of the ParentTot class, and we always had a good class with Ms. Katie.
Both of my boys enjoy swim class. The instructors are so patient and kind with the kids.
The coaches that challenge the kids to their limits while making it a fun experience is exactly what this should be. Great overall experience. Just need a little more consistency from coach to coach in ensuring the children are still being challenged properly!
The amount of 1:1 time in the group session.
I like that they are very encouraging but don't let the kids slide on anything. These are critical and life saving safety things they are learning!! I love that Swimtastic takes those things so seriously!!! It helps me be less anxious when my little is in the water!!!
We absolutely love Brielle. She understood how shy our son was, she was patient and kind with him, and he grew with her and passed his first level. If we could stay with her his entire swim journey we would!
Clean facilities, continent location, good communication.

I like the feedback from the teacher after class, tracking of skill development in app, and makeup tokens
