Honestly, the experience was great. Just more than what I’m used to spending on a haircut.

Professional employees
Our stylist Kristy was very nice to my 5 year old son. She took time wiht him & made him feel so comfortable. She even washed his hair & gave him a massage. My son is still talking about how awesome his experience was it to anyone who will listen.

I visited a SportClips for the first time in Modesto and was very impressed with the entire experience! Nothing like the average barbershop. From the moment you walk in, you are greeted and welcomed to a clean, updated, and trendy establishment full of sports-themed decor and televisions. I was assisted by Alexis who was attentive and professional. She informed me of the different haircut options and of course, I opted for the MVP experience which not only included my haircut but also a hot towel wrap and relaxing neck/shoulder massage! Definitely will be visiting again soon! Thanks Alexis for treating me like an MVP!

I like that Sportclips is basically a salon for guys to treat themselves a bit. We get nice haircuts and a little extra with the massage and steamed towel.

Two hours for a haircut. The stylist knew my family was waiting (wife & two kids whose haircut took only 15 minutes). My "VIP experience" left them waiting. She could have let me or them know it was going to be a while so they could go elsewhere & comeback for me.
Alex P has been such a breath of fresh air. She is not only asking what type of cut you want, but explaining the process and walking you through the MVP Treatment. I was lucky to first get my haircut from her and I am now a loyal customer. Having upbeat employees that care and want to be there at work shows clients the care and pride in their work. I look forward to going to my next visit. Additionally, Alex is knowledgeable of the product. I have bought not one, not two, but three of the Tea Tree Hair & Body Moisturizers from her. This employee is a keeper. Make her happy because her interactions with clients is so positive and makes the trip to getting a haircut a rewarding experience.
I like the massage
Overall good experience but was shocked to discover no beard service was available. Also the clippers used were not wireless. Seems these two things ought to be standard to me in a shop like this.
