Really wish I could get a swim/water class only, whirlpool membership. That’s all I use besides the locker room.

O only jist joined recently but the facilities are great, ways clean. The variety of options is incredible, so many classes to join. And the team at the Y as well as other members have been very welcoming.
Love Pilates with Danna. Also the recumbent exercise bikes.
We would prefer not to be locked out of the shower room 20 minutes before closing.

There are multiple activities and equipment available. Swimming is especially good since many are willing to share lanes and the lifeguards are all nice.

The variety of workout classes. I like the ancillary programming like knitting class, personal self defense class, etc. would LOVE more ancillary programming for those of us who are 60 and still working full time…evening knitting class, evening pickleball clinics, basically fun stuff in the evening!

I appreciate having instructors who are not only knowlegable and skilled but also caring and fun. When exercise and fitness are fun, I am way more likely to participate, and do so more often. I also love the environment - it's clean, cheerful, welcoming, and safe. Having a nice pool for water aerobics is so nice. So is having the great weight training room and rooms for Dance Party and Centergy classes. Even the garden outside says welcome.
One last comment, I love the signs about "all are welcome, all are included." That matters a lot to me.

Lots of variety. My kids love the special kids classes.
I enjoy using the cardio room and indoor track. My only concern is the music played in the cardio room on Fridays. The tall Black man in charge seems to think that everyone needs to listen to his choice of music. Could he possible use a headset?
The McCleskey-East Cobb YMCA is an outstanding facility. The staff listens to the members and handles any problem promptly. The addition of dehumidifiers has really improved the main studio and cycle studio. The Wellness Director, Sam Holly, does an amazing job!

At the time I come to swim laps I can get a lane to myself at the pool. It is most enjoyable to swim laps when I have a lane to myself. The pool water is a good temperature.
Also, there are exercise machines and stretching classes. The staff is always friendly and helpful.

We live thr child watch services. That program is such a life saver! Our kids love going too. We're hoping to participate in parent's night out soon. I'll also say that the updated gym equipment is great. Another program we enjoy are international day and community day (or Health day). My only critique would be the coffee. I would pay a tad more in membership for some better quality coffee. Haha. Thanks for all you do

I don’t participate in any of them therefore I can’t comment. My activities only involve workout machines, sauna and outdoor walking occasionally.
Like pickleball
I have been here since 2014. The best thing I like about the Y is all the employees. From front desk staff members to instructors, all are very friendly! They are punctual about their promises. I enjoy working out with all my friends there. If I’m not there, my days turn dull. I love the Y!
