Clean environment & great staff
I love the group classes, especially dance and yoga. You have great instructors. I love taking classes with Nicole Yates and wish she could teach or sub more often.

We love the YMCA!! Highlights community and programs are amazing. We LOVE Coach Howard, he has coached our kids soccer and basketball and truly cares about the kids.
Biggest struggle we have is with the YMCA website and portal. It’s not easy to sign up for programs and it gets frustrating to search…really not user friendly. If you could go back to the former system that would be so much easier.
We love the clean gym and equipment. I wish that they enforce majing sure peiole bathe befor entering the pool and hot tub though, i often see people walk in from outside and get straight in the pool and hot tub without bathing or even pretending to go to the locker room. That is gross. Also they tend to cut the steam toom off early, i wish they would not do that.
Instructors are great!
I like the instructors in the line dance, Zumba gold and active adult strength and cardio classes. They are very approachable and make the classes fun.

I love Linda's "Active Adult" classes, which are so fun and friendly! Linda brings a great spirit to class along with her physical expertise. All ages and levels of strength enjoy and benefit from her class!
I like the East Lake Y's large spaces, class availability, and easy parking. It's welcoming and light, and the diversity feels good--like a real community!
The members, equipment and employees. However, I would like to see management crack down on annoying cellphone use and folks making Tik Tok videos in the workout areas. Thank you.

Elfreda is the best - she's the only reason why I maintain my membership.
The Zumba and strength classes offered at hours after 4 pm. The equipment is great. Staff is very helpful.
I attend the Step It Up class with Elgin and Y Burn Total Body with Shannon and they are both great classes with very skilled instructors. They make sure we get a thorough workout, provide helpful guidance, and always have a positive attitude.
I absolutely love the YMCA and all of the classes and experiences that I have had thus far.
