I enjoy the water aerobics class taught by Ms. Elfreda. She’s a wonderful instructor and the class is very enjoyable.
My only “complaint” is I wish there were more water classes in the later afternoon/evening for working people and more classes designed for pregnant women.
I appreciate the variety of fitness programs offered. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable, pleasant, and professional. I really like the Coach Approach program. I needed the guidance to establish my goals and the accountability for follow through. Joy has been extremely helpful with her knowledge and guidance.

I enjoy the group exercise classes offered during te day. Lisa's Tu/Th Pilates class in particualer
and Linda's Senior class on Wednesdays.
I am frustrated that the Y doesn't have enough equipment for the classes. ( weight bars, 5 /8 lb hand weights bosu balls. ).
Disappointed that the Tuesday 9AM weight Training class was dropped
I am finding that there are less group classes to choose from and find my self going to the DeKalb Y more often than I'd like.
I am not only a member of the East Lake Y Iam also a monthly Doner .
Ihope that the Y uses my contributions to purchases more classroom equipment
The facilities are well maintained, the team has been responsive to questions and the demographics provide a great community for our family.
Staff is always friendly and helpful. The pool is a wonderful setting for teaching out kid to swim. I like the weight rooms. Facility is always clean.
