The Y is wonderful!

I like the weight machines and the indoor jogging track. They help me greatly in staying fit.

I like the clean pool and its colder temperature than the East Lake pool, I like the longer hours – open earlier – I like the separate adult locker rooms and I like certain of the instructors.

I like the variety of activities. I also like Safiyah's attempt to start a book club. I'm just sorry I can't participate in it.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the new parent and me gymnastics class on Thursday Mornings at the Decatur YMCA. Great instructors and great activities planned.

We love the variety of group exercise programs. There's something for everyone. All of the instructors are good and many of them are outstanding! All of the staff are courteous and very friendly to the members, responsive to questions, and most importantly, attentive to safety.

We don't use the child care center -- but it is fun to see the children playing in there. It also shows everyone what good care they are receiving.

Classes are taught by trained professional instructors who’re also friendly and knowledgeable. In addition, most of the members are friendly and encouraging. Our Y has a “family-like” atmosphere where we truly care for each other.
