What do you like about our programs and activities?

The Decatur YMCA have the best classes, everything from swimming, water aerobics, varies cardio workouts to yoga. The fitness program covers all ages and skill levels. The instructors are excellent. The facility is clean and the staff are friendly and very helpful.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I love the spin class, Sudie is the BEST! And I absolutely love the Play Center. After having my first child, I knew I had to find a gym with childcare. The Decatur Y playcenter has exceeded all of my expectations. It is always extremely neat, tidy and clean and the staff is exceptional! I don't know what I would do if something happened to the Decatur Y Play Center; the staff feels like family to me. Thank you for helping me achieve my wellness goals and providing wonderful childcare.

The pool area is clean and welcoming. I like it when the guards are playing the boom box, especially oldies.

The Tai Chi class was great. The instructor spent time with each student. Mary at the child center made sure my little guy had fun too.

Excellent staff. Consider scheduling gym for Pickleball during holiday periods. Last Christmas break gym was vacant for many times.

I’ve enjoyed every class I’ve attended. The instructors are friendly and enthusiastic, the other participants are welcoming and inclusive, and all of the YMCA staff are genuinely caring.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I love the early morning cycle classes, the way the front-desk receptionist learns everyone's name, the friendly atmosphere, and the fact that I still see people there that I've worked out with for over 30 years. The Decatur YMCA is the place I want to be for a long time.

Variety at any time during operating hours with fitness classes/options AND excellent instructors! Front desk staff is always friendly, pleasant , and efficient. They deal with so many people; always multitasking and always so personable!
