Clean facility
The staff were helpful, friendly, and courteous. I took my grandchildren for the swimming lessons held in June and July. I observed that all of the swimming instructors were knowledgeable and patient with their students. The young lady who was the swimming instructor for my grandsons was able to help the youngest, who went from being afraid to even put his face in the water (because he thought he would drown), to jumping off the side of the pool and allowing her to help him learn how to swim on his back.
And, of course, after the lessons were over, we went to the delightful splash pad. The lifeguards were very observant of their territory and kept a close eye on all who entered. The children had a great time there.
Everything!!
Great exercise classes that appeal to seniors, 60+. Staff is always so welcoming. You could use more space for classes as morning classes are often full when go to book. I like the combo classes with weights and cardio. Loretta is fabulous!
The instructors & being challenged.

Workout areas
I’m fairly new so I can’t answer, I only come for a Saturday morning Zumba class right now
Great programs and staff!!
Clean, friendly
There are many classes offered. I enjoy the instructors. Environment is friendly & welcoming. I like varied clientele-appeals across age groups. I especially want to acknowledge the swim program that offers swimming lessons to all kids to decrease drowning risks.
A friendly, safe place to workout .
Pickleball and body pump
The Springs Family YMCA is simply a wonderful community resource here in the Hill Country. It offers outstanding services from classes, workshops, every form of athletic endeavor, (with 2 pools) child care opportunities, sporting events, instructional videos, etc. The staff are professional, helpful and kind. Best of all is the inviting family feeling provided upon entry. It is not uncommon for friendships to bloom here and you will witness plenty of laughs and hugs. We are big fans! Thank you for all you do.
Indoor pool
I play tennis - would be nice to have 2 more courts as sometimes we have to play elsewhere due to lessons and drills.
Nice clean faciltiy.
Pickleball available
A very friendly staff and instructors.
Activities for all age groups.
Pickleball program at ymca is the best I’ve come across (because yall have 2 hour child care and everyone who participates is so kind from beginners to experts).
I love all the new machines. So easy and safe to use. Thank you for the upgrade!
My kids are Obsessed with your kid pool and regular lap pools, especially having the shallower end free play section in the lap pool area for bigger kids.
Programs are great I just wish I could make one more regularly but… kids schedules are not easy to keep to make them on time. That’s on family life, not yall.
Either way. I recommend springs family ymca to everyone I meet who doesn’t have a membership already! 👍
Friendly and helpful staff, inspiring teachers ,
Easy to access with Silver Sneakers
The Springs YMCA offers a variety of activities for all ages. The only disadvantage to the current facility is that in the mornings it is very full and parking is limited. It seems we have outgrown the current facility.
Good treadmills that are kept in good condition. Pickleball will soon be important to me so keep plenty of courts and available times for pickleball please.
Well, rounded programs that are great for all age groups
Great variety..great teachers ....BUT
Very disappointed that the Y does not buy the needed equipment for the senior fit classes... Bands, weights etc ..We have needed more sturdy chairs for years and they have been promising to get them for us for many years.
Finally Annette talked to the Y and got permission to take up a donation . Members are buying the chairs and donating them to the Y. I donated money, because the chairs are needed, but this is not right .The Y could well afford to buy chairs for these classes around $700....Some of the chairs are not safe for seniors to be sitting in and getting up from. Members of the classes feel we are not valued members which is really unfortunate when the Y has so many seniors.
I really like the water exercise classes.
The people, the instructors the availability. Just wish there was more parking
Like the classes and friendly instructors
I would love to see more aerobic type classes throughout the day and not just mornings.

Friendly staff. Clean facility. Lots of machines so seldom any waiting. Free coffee.
