Love the 8A-3P M-F Pickleball Open Play & the variety of exercise classes offered but would like to see Yoga & Pickleball & more offered in the evening as well, for the working folks.

I think that the YMCA is especially renowned for its family and children’s programs. We have a reputation for one of the best YMCA swim teams and coaching staff. Parents find great value in the childcare services, year round programs and summer camps . These services provide a safe, engaging environment for children while allowing parents the time and space to focus on their own fitness or professional goals.
Overall, the YMCA’s blend of community engagement, comprehensive health and wellness resources, family support, affordability, and youth development creates a uniquely valuable environment for individuals and families alike. I wish I had had the opportunity to belong to a YMCA when growing up because I hear how people reminisce about their experiences as a child growing up here at the Springs YMCA.
I really enjoy the Sr Strong classes in particular, including the mobility class on Tuesdays and Thursdays that use mats on the floor. The facility is great and there is such a diversity of classes.
The staff is friendly, the group classes leaders are exceptional, there is great equipment to use, and the facility is super clean. I love the Y-M-C-A!

There should be a “social pickleball “ designated area or time and a separate challenge, high level- designated area or time!!
Some people loose the fact the this is The YMCA family driven buisiness, not Tournament Pickleball driven Club!!!
I'm loving the masters swim program. I wished there was one like this for kids (less intensive than swim team).

I am enjoying Synchronized Swim class with Anna Freymeyer. She really stretches us but we have lots of fun too! I am startmy 4th month next week!
Janet Risser leads in excellent master swim class, as does Loretta Sands in full body fit and Cathy Keaney in cycling.
The senior programs and the instructors are the best anywhere. The number of senior classes offered is more than any other gym in Austin, even other YMCAs. Good job Springs!

The squat racks
The group exercise area needs more chairs and exercise bands. Some of the chairs are in bad shape. The balls need pumping up and a few more of them would be nice also.
The extra pickle ball courts are appreciated. Some posted rules would be welcome. People are moving others' paddles so they can avoid playing with those people and/or skip ahead of those who are already in line. Very rude behavior that would be easy to address with posted rules that someone who is being bullied could point to without having a confrontation.

Variety of classes and times
Love our trainer, Ryan, at Springs Y. Like child watch but really need it Friday afternoon/early evenings so we can get a final weekday excercise in after work.
I enjoy the senior exercise program, it has just the right amount of exercise.
