Excellent equipment, plenty of room for floor exercises, very professional, courteous staff.
I only participate in water programs, but I enjoy the water exercise with various instructors and the variety that brings. Parking is a real problem at the Springs. Either the programs need to be not bunched at the same times or more parking needs to be made available. The new app has helped with registration for classes.
There is a great variety of classes and activities to choose from. I am especially fond of pickleball but due to a pulled hamstring I am doing group exercise classes at this time. Many times to choose from!
Love the people, the activities andthe facility
NEED MORE PARKING
You offer a wide array of programs/activities. I like the water aerobics programs and they have become one of my major exercise activities.
I like all the programs for seniors and the instructors are amazing!
Wide range of offers
Beautiful place to spend 4hrs. weekly! New paint colors are bright and energizing. Group fitness classes are fun, even for an older gal. I have tried 4 programs and liked them ALL. Teachers are upbeat, but nonjudgemental. New signup app was not easy, but we figured it out!
I beg for a few more Handicapped parking spaces.
FIVE by Main Entrance is not enough.
Staff are friendly and helpful. Facility is clean and accessible. Equipment is high quality.
Great variety of classes. My favorite thing about the Y is the people. Staff are friendly and the members span the generations. It’s fun to be in a place where babies, kids, teens, adults and seniors all gather to be healthy.
Everything! Wonderful staff who create community every day.
Good variety
There are senior activities and some fun pickleball.
I think pickleball could use a time span for “Senior pickleball”..
Not fun to be beaten up on by people decades younger! Plus they typically aren’t attending for social time like us seniors!
Just a suggestion!
Water aerobics
Pickleball is great!
Variety of classes and usually not too long of a wait for the weight machines.
I like the variety of group fitness classes and various times. Penny is great for senior classes. Sonya is amazing as an instructor on yoga classes. I would love to see Sonya teach “slow flow yoga” more days. People at front desk are lovely! Need more facilities and parking.
Pickleball.
The MWF 8am Full Body Fit
Senior fitness and the Den plus the pool (both)
I don’t use them, but I’m happy they exist and they seem popular!
The friendly staff and awesome trainers, specifically Zach Gist.
I really like Dripping Springs YMCA yoga classes and the awesome instructors. Recently, a really annoying change has happened where the door to the yoga studio sets off an alarm if someone opens door before class. I've accidentally set it off and have heard others have the same unpleasant experience. I like to get in early to stretch and start breathing. Understood that door leads to emergency exit so can't be locked during opening hours. There has to be a smarter way to ensure that room is not improperly used. (Don't know what happened that led to wanting to keep members out.)
Options: put up sign "NO ..." or have staff peak in to check every few hours or put in cameras to use for Zoom overflow classes. These among other options.
I love playing pickleball, the amount of time you let us play, but especially the friendships and socialization that comes with it.
Wide range of programs available for all types of swimmers
Wide range of programs available for all levels of swimmers
I was very impressed by the patience of the instructors in working with my son. They took time to make him feel noticed and cared for and tried everything to help him feel comfortable in the water. They used games and positive encouragement to help him tackle his fear. He still has a long way to go swim independently, but his lessons helped to feel safe around the water.
Coach Sara was an excellent coach. She gave clear instructions to all and she provided specific input to the individual swimmers as was needed. She was very positive in her interactions with all the children.
Great team, facilities, and atmosphere

FRIENDLY STAFF AND GREAT PROGRAMS. KIDS CLUB WOULD BE HELPFUL IF OPEN ON SUNDAYS, EVEN IF ONLY IN AFTERNOONS. SHOWERS IN LOCKERROOM NEED SOME WORK. FIRST SHOWER ONLY HAS SCORTCHING HOT WATER ON THE COLDEST SETTING, SECOND SHOWER BARELY HAS ANY HOT WATER EVEN AT IT'S HOTTEST, THIRD SHOWER IS A TRICKLE AND HANDYCAP SHOWER IS A MIST. A PING PONG TABLE IN THE GYMNASIUM WOULD BRING LOTS OF PEOPLE TO PLAY AND MAYBE GET A RECREATIONAL TIME SLOT FOR IT.
