I was so impressed with the facilities/ and staff, so recruited my 34 yr old son. He is now a member.
My husband and I are enjoying the Silver Sneaker Aquatic program. The low impact Water Aerobics program designed for older bodies that don't work like an athlete works well for us. We just joined a couple months ago and may look at some other low impact exercises that will help us keep active.
I like the new renovated showers in the ladies locker room. I do wish they had kept the dressing room in the showers. I usually go to town lake y but was closer to this one that day. 😊
The North Austin YMCA seems to be clean, well managed and has great people working there. I enjoy it - especially the pool and the hot tub. Thank you! -Name removed

I love the variety of classes offered.There really is something for everyone!
As a senior, I especially love the senior strong and chair yoga classes. The instructors are awesome and fun-loving. As a result, we all have a good time exercising together!
The pool is a wonderful place. I refer to it as "my therapy" and like to go do my own form of water aerobics when I feel a need for a "pick me up"!

Variety! Love the Tai Chi classes!
I love the variety of classes and youth programs offered at the North Austin Y. The only reason I did not put a 10 is because NA has one of the smaller group exercise rooms, so sometimes I think it's not as comfortable for really popular classes, like BodyPump. But NA is an all around great gym facility with very friendly staff.

I appreciate the greetings by staff when I enter the building. My main interest is swimming and exercising in the pools and very grateful that I can do it year-round. With the large glass wall, I enjoy the feel of the pool facilities. The pool and dressing rooms are well maintained.

Our family is new to the Y. We started our membership last year and so far it has been nothing short of amazing. Our toddler has participated in summer and holiday programs and he loves it.
I love your weekend classes. I attend gentle yoga almost every Saturday and it's a wonderful experience! I'm getting to know my yoga instructor and she helps me modify yoga poses due to a previous knee injury. My son goes to childcare during this class and he always has a great time. I also love that the Y offers programs, activities, and classes for our whole family. What I love most is that you offer scholarships to families and individuals who need it to help the Y be more accessible for everyone.
