We have been satisfied customers of Merry Maids for over two decades now. They have professionally cleaned our home as we have moved twice, once from Stow to rural Portage County, and then back to northern Summit County. The crews have changed over time but the service has not.

Have just started using Merry Maids again after a 3 month break for pandemic more as a courtesy to the franchise owner whom I really like rather than real need. The owner is friendly and very honest and forthright in how she runs her business, which I respect as a business owner myself.

Ladies do a great job on toilets and floors and they vacuum and dust pretty well. There is a product they must use that sometimes seems to leave a greasy feel to some surfaces but I cannot figure our what it is and it is not every time. I have a very orderly house when they come in so that all surfaces have been cleared off for cleaning. Small item that most cleaners miss is the top edge of a countertop where the backsplash meets the wall. It is not noticeable until you run your finger along it. My solution is to simply leave post-it notes for the ladies on the day they come to draw attention to things of concern to me.

Again, I like the management at my Merry Maids franchise - it just takes a while to find the ladies who do the best job for you in your house and then try to get them back for your service dates. It has not been a problem to this point.

The service is very efficient and my house stays cleaner for a longer time than when I clean it. Thank you!
