The maid or maids need practically no advice on what to clean and what to leave alone. When they come and go while I am out on errands, I am never struck with consternation over what they have done. I also enjoy talking Spanish with them.

Generally show up on time (traffic sometimes makes cleaners a bit late). Clean areas quickly, clean up after themselves. Bring everything they need. Are invariably friendly and polite.
