Usually I am quite satisfied with the Merry Maids Service. However, for the September service that was provided on the 4th, I was quite disappointed. Dust was still evident on the wood floors and the scatter rugs in the master bedroom were not vacuumed. Overall the house did appear as though it had been cleaned. This was very unusual as I usually can always tell when my house has been serviced. Not this time. Perhaps it was a different crew.

They're very good about tailoring the job to suit the client. For example, we do not like some of the harsh chemicals they use for cleaning floors so we asked that they use only water and a mop- and still manage to make our floors look great.

They are quite meticulous in the work performed. I just started back with Merry Maids a couple of months ago after a long absence. They are always on time. They just have to remember the code that was placed especially for them (incase I am not home).
I like that they won't use anything you don't want (like harsh chemicals on hardwood floors) and when they do the job, they usually get it all but at times they'll miss a spot- bring it to their attention and watch it get rectified quickly. The crew that gets sent to my house does a fantastic job every time they come.

I like that you call a day ahead of time as a reminder of the upcoming cleaning. I also like that when there is an issue such as, not being satisfied with the cleaning on a particular day (this is rare), that you take extra steps to be sure it’s taken care of. And the courtesy call the day after the cleaning is helpful as well. You make my life much easier for me & you are so much more dependable than a having a cleaning person who runs their own business & is a staff of one.
